Bryan Saxton’s passion for his work as a successful commercial real estate attorney may be matched only by his zeal for community service.
In one recent two-month period alone, he coordinated 10 large property deals, including several portfolio acquisitions – one of which was valued at $460 million.
In the meantime, he has taken a leadership role with a host of organizations. His role as co-chair of Wills for Heroes, a project of the Maryland State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, helped first responders obtain estate planning documents. His work with the United Way of Central Maryland has led him to engage with Harvest Helpers and Project Homeless Connect.
“All of these community circles interact together and I take what I learn from each of them to impact the others,” Saxton said.
Saxton obtained a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University, a master’s from Miami University and his J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
He received the ELU Pioneer Award from the United Way in 2016.
“Growing up, my family was not well off and were homeless for several months at one point,” he recalled. “I have tried to make it so that my family and children never have to experience that. However, I know I didn’t get to where I am alone, so I also give back and volunteer with organizations like United Way to help others get a hand up, to be able to make their lives better as well.”
