UPPER MARLBORO — Public school officials in a Maryland suburb of Washington, D.C., say two people at a high school had been diagnosed with tuberculosis.

NBC4 reports that officials refused to provide any further information on the people, or if they are students or staff at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School in Upper Marlboro.

The Prince George’s County Public Schools said in a news release Monday that both people are being treated, and there’s no additional exposure risk.

Officials say screenings will be offered, out of an abundance of caution.
