WILLIE ALFRED HARRIS, III v. STATE OF MARYLAND

Criminal law — Sufficiency of the evidence — Possession of firearm by prohibited person

Following a jury trial in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Willie Alfred Harris III, appellant, was convicted of possession of a regulated firearm by a prohibited person. On appeal, Harris contends that there was insufficient evidence to sustain his conviction because the State failed to prove that he possessed the firearm that was recovered by the police.
