On Tuesday, Anne Arundel county, DEA, and State government officials joined members of Maryland House Detox to break ground on what will be the first stand-alone, in-patient detox center in the state.

Formerly Hospice of the Chesapeake at 817 South Camp Meade Road in Linthicum, MD, the facility will house 16 residents at a time in during their 5-7 day medically monitored detoxification, followed by a personalized transition into next level of care once the renovation is complete by the spring of 2018.
