Made in Baltimore, an organization that aims to expand the market for locally produced goods, will open its holiday pop-up shop on Friday.
The organization will for the third year open The Holiday Store at the historic bank building at 1901 N. Charles St. in the heart of Station North. The store will feature products from more than 60 local businesses and will be open from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 24.
“Our hope is that with each year, we raise more and more awareness about these incredible businesses, and of course put more dollars in the pockets of these hard-working creative entrepreneurs. We also hope to encourage Baltimoreans to think before they buy their holiday gifts: ‘Could I get this product from a local company, instead of just buying it on Amazon?’” Andy Cook, Made in Baltimore program director, said in a statement.
