Kathryn L. Hickey
Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP
While Kathryn L. Hickey has forged a successful legal career for herself at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP for over 10 years, she finds the most fulfillment in the work she does outside of her firm.
She regularly provides pro bono services to the Homeless Persons Representation Project, representing clients who may need criminal records expunged in order to get a job or housing. Hickey is also passionate about increasing the number of successful startup companies in Maryland, and empowering women professionally.
She was a mentor for UMBC’s ACTiVATE program, designed to encourage entrepreneurship among women, and is a mentor for the Pink Boots Society, which helps women advance in the craft brewery industry. She volunteers for the Incubator of the Year awards and for the FastForward program at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.
“We are stronger when we work together to raise each other up, and I strive to use my influence and experience to be a loud and visible advocate for the advancement of women,” Hickey says.
