For Stephanie Ranno, achieving something of significance entails positively influencing the trajectory of another person’s life. That could mean helping a team member overcome a fear or finding a candidate a meaningful job that allows him or her to be able to purchase a first home.
“I believe inspiring change starts with a commitment to regularly looking inward at how you can be a better you and then living that out in your daily work and interactions with others,” says Ranno, director of enterprise business development at Torchlight Hire.
A wife and mother of three, Ranno also believes that a woman can have it all: success in career and family life, as well as in creative projects.
Ranno provides career-based mentoring with clients of Maryland New Directions. An active member of her faith community, she has volunteered as a lector and Eucharist minister in various churches for the past 25 years. She’s also a member of the National Advisory Council for MADE in America, an organization founded to promote and support American industry and craft production.
