Baltimore ranked as a top city for graduates

Baltimore is one of the best cities for recent graduates, according to a ranking from

According to the list, Baltimore is the 10th best city for recent graduates, out of the 59 metropolitan areas in the country with more than 750,000 residents.

The ranking credited Baltimore with high wages, particularly for workers with bachelor’s degrees, and high potential job growth in the education and health services, professional and business services, government, and trade, transportation and utilities sectors.

Some of the city’s other top perks included “some of the nation’s best seafood, being close to all the boating and sailing you can handle, and being a short drive away from the nation’s capital.”

Baltimore was one of just two East Coast cities to make the lists top 15. Boston placed ahead of Baltimore at number eight.

To find the best cities for graduates, you would have to go to Texas. Houston was named the best city for graduates while Austin and San Antonio tied for second.

4. Denver, Colorado

5. Columbus, Ohio

6. San Diego, California

7. Phoenix, Arizona
