RoosterBio Inc., a stem cell tools and technology company in Frederick, has launched a new product that it says could allow for faster and less costly development of regenerative medicine.

The company launched its CliniControl working cell banks for large-scale human mesenchymal stem/stromal cell production, which free medicine developers from the time and expense of having to develop and test their own cell banks.

Across the world, there are about 800 active clinical trials using human mesenchymal stem/stromal cells, a number that RoosterBio expects to increase.

The company says that organizations that use the new cell banks can cut years and millions of dollars from their development timelines.
