Giant food relocating headquarters from Pa. to Md.

Giant Food is relocating its headquarters from Pennsylvania to Maryland in a move that also marks the company’s return to Landover.

Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker III’s office said the move would bring 220 jobs to the county, 78 of which would be new hires.

The company had been headquartered in Landover once before, but after a merger in 1998, they moved their headquarters, Baker said in a statement.
