Judge Donine Marie Carrington
Circuit Court of Charles County
Donine Marie Carrington is the first African-American woman appointed to be a judge in Charles County. She is an active member of the NAACP and the Nu Zeta Omega chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Carrington mentored a student during the student’s Cotillion experience. Carrington helped her clean a road and create a fundraiser for college. She has also assisted with an etiquette workshop for high school girls and presented a workshop on the pitfalls of social media.
Mt. Elon Baptist Church II honored Carrington with the God’s Girls Rock award for her service to victims of crime.
