Baltimore is toward the bottom of the pack in terms of best places to raise a family, according to a recently released study by WalletHub on the best and worst cities in the nation to raise a family.
The map above shows how Baltimore compared to cities similar in size, or located nearby. But no matter the city size or location, Charm City ranked toward the bottom of the list. The city only ranked ahead of places such as Detroit, Miami, and Cleveland.
“To determine the most family-friendly places in America, WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across 46 key metrics. The data set ranges from housing affordability to school system quality to share of families with young kids,” according to the personal finance website.
