Spencer P. Pollock, Esq. and Preston P. Heck II, Esq. have joined Niles, Barton & Wilmer LLP as litigation associates.
Pollock concentrates his practice in general litigation and insurance law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. As a trial lawyer, he has first-chair trial experience in district and circuit courts, including jury trials. He is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of the South. Pollock is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, the Baltimore County Bar Association, Maryland Defense Counsel and is a certified mediator. He has represented clients in a pro bono capacity as a member of the Maryland Volunteer Legal Service. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional and assists clients in navigating federal and state privacy and data governance laws.
Heck focuses his practice in general commercial litigation, insurance coverage matters, property insurance law and subrogation in Maryland. He graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in history in 2014 and received a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2017. Previously, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. J. Michael Wachs of the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court in Annapolis. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Baltimore City.
