Dennis Thomas Padgett admitted to killing two people, and was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City of voluntary manslaughter, first-degree murder, possession of a regulated firearm, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, and two counts of wearing, carrying or transporting a handgun. He appeals several trial decisions relating to evidence and trial procedure.
