Jason Knott, a partner in the Washington office of Zuckerman Spaeder LLP will receive the Making Justice Real Pro Bono Award from the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia at a reception Oct. 9.
The annual award recognizes attorneys who have provided outstanding pro bono service through individual representation and/or leadership in facilitating such representation by their colleagues.
Knott joined the firm in 2007 and focuses his practice on employment, insurance and other complex litigation. He has always made time to take on pro bono matters, whether on his own or in partnership with Legal Aid. Over his years with the firm, Knott has committed hundreds of pro bono hours to matters involving foreclosure, landlord-tenant law, indigent criminal defense and election law.
