Development Team Lead

Once Amy Rogers learned to step outside of her comfort zone, she realized how much change she could effect — especially for women in her company.
While serving as a project manager for AOL, Rogers was always one of the first to participate in fundraising, organize bake sales, help plant trees, paint recreation centers and much more. She was also one of the first women to show up to the company’s “Lean In” circle, a women’s leadership and development program.
Over the course of two years, Rogers and the small team of women at AOL planned, organized and executed more than 30 internal and external programs, workshops and events focused on leadership development, mentorship and community impact for women. Rogers also became the global lead for AOL’s female mentorship program, MAKERS@AOL employee resource group. When she left AOL for a new position at Havas Helia, she developed her own leadership and development initiative.
“Inspiring change means giving junior females a seat at the table and providing opportunities for senior female leaders to mentor and help grow and develop the next generation of leaders,” Rogers said.
