Every day, more than 2 million Comcast customers in the Beltway region enjoy internet, phone and television products. Since October 2015, Senior Vice President Mary McLaughlin has been leading multidisciplinary teams of more than 5,000 employees aiming to provide great customer service along with delivering best-in-class products to customers.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bridgewater State University and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, McLaughlin served as a Massachusetts assistant attorney general focusing on consumer protection for three years before transitioning into the telecommunications world.

She worked as corporate counsel for Continental Cable and area vice president for Adelphia before coming to Comcast in 2006. Since joining the American telecommunications conglomerate, she has worked as area vice president for New Hampshire and area vice president for the greater Boston south operating area. She served as senior vice president of Comcast’s western New England region before coming to Baltimore.

McLaughlin makes giving back to the community a priority, including serving on the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Women in Cable Telecommunications Global board of directors.

Last year, she was named MSO Regional Executive of the Year by Cablefax as a part of the magazine’s Top Operators Awards.
