Appellant, Tyrone Thomas Nordine, was tried by a jury in the Circuit Court for Harford County, and convicted of attempted first degree murder, first degree burglary, first degree assault, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony or crime of violence, and illegal possession of a regulated firearm.1 Appellant was thereafter sentenced to life for attempted first degree murder and a concurrent sentence of twenty (20) years for first degree burglary. The life sentence is to be followed by a consecutive twenty (20) years for use of a firearm in commission of the burglary, the first five without parole, as well as a concurrent twenty (20) year sentence, the first five without parole, for the second use conviction. Finally, appellant was sentenced to a consecutive fifteen (15) years, the first five without parole, for illegal possession of a regulated firearm, and that sentence also was ordered to run consecutively to the life sentence for attempted murder.
