Mojdeh Bahar has been the assistant administrator in the Office of Technology Transfer’s Agricultural Research Service, the Department of Agriculture’s principal in-house research agency, since 2013. She manages technology transfers, including patenting and licensing of inventions, for the service, and is a resource in the management of intellectual property and technology transfers across the USDA.
Bahar is an alumni mentor at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she earned her law degree in 2000.
Bahar is on the board of the United States-India Science & Technology Endowment Fund, which promotes innovation and entrepreneurship between the two countries.
