Armold joins more than four dozen other recipients of ANCOR’s 2019 Direct Support Professional of the Year awards, chosen from a field of nearly 350 outstanding nominees.

The award recognizes an outstanding direct support professional who embodies the central tenets outlined in the code of ethics of the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals, which emphasizes person-centered supports, promoting physical and emotional well-being, integrity and responsibility, confidentiality, justice and equity, respect, relationships, self-determination and advocacy.

Armold will receive her award during ANCOR’s annual conference May 8 in Portland, Oregon.
