Brian Minnich, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Dan Audette, AIA and Amanda McKinney were named associates with GWWO Architects.

minnich-brian-gwwo-architectsMinnich has focused his more than 20-year career on the planning and design of environments for K-12 education. He has served as the national co-chair for the K-12 Education Subcommittee for the AIA Committee on Architecture for Education and currently serves on the AIA CAE’s National Leadership Group. Brian frequently participates on awards juries and is a regular speaker at national and regional conferences on topics influencing K-12 project design, particularly school security. Since joining the firm in 2015, he has been instrumental in the design of the new Arundel Elementary School in Baltimore, the Tulip Grove Elementary School renovation and addition in Prince George’s County and the new Northeast Area Elementary School Ridge Road in Baltimore County.

audette-dan-gwwo-architectsAudette is the firm’s technology in practice specialist and an advocate for the advanced use of technology in the design process. As one of the leaders of the office’s BIM Management Team and facilitator of the technology committee and Dynamo Users Group, Audette consistently institutes the office’s Revit standards, and reviews, frequently updates and informs best practices, tips, and tricks to help office users improve efficiency and accuracy. His efforts ensure that our office is always on the cutting-edge of technology. He is a member of the AIA and holds a Bachelor of Science in architectural studies and Master of Architecture, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

mckinney-amanda-gwwo-architectsMcKinney, the firm’s controller, plays an integral role in the firm’s management and financial strategy development and is a key adviser to the firm’s leadership. She manages all aspects of the finance department including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, financial statements and overall assessment of the financial status of the company. She is also responsible for the coordination of audit and tax activities, along with maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. In addition, McKinney serves on the firm’s operations committee that contributes to improving the office’s work environment and the Technology Committee that focuses on keeping GWWO abreast of new technological resources. She earned a degree in accounting from the Community College of Baltimore County.
