Nicole Evans | Md. Chamber of Commerce

Nicole Evans has joined the Maryland Chamber of Commerce as a marketing and communications manager.
Evans is charged with driving the strategy and implementation for all internal and external communications and will work to develop powerful narratives that showcase the chamber’s expanding portfolio of services and products to businesses across the state.
Prior to joining the chamber, Evans spent two years as the global product manager at Rexnord (formerly Cambridge International) and four years working as the global brand and marketing manager at Cambridge International. In her six year tenure at Rexnord/Cambridge, Evans facilitated the execution of 41 branded trade shows, events, annual sales meetings and local community events in the United States, Mexico and Europe.
In her first role at Cambridge, Evans developed and managed international B2B industrial manufacturing marketing programs, including strategic planning, setting KPI goals, budget management and ROI tracking. She managed a team of marketing professionals focused on executing international campaigns, including email, direct mail, database marketing and digital marketing. She also led cross-departmental product development teams to successfully create and commercialize multiple conveyor systems designs. During her time, Evans was also responsible for website redesign with enhanced functionality, managed all social medial channels and content for YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter and created Cambridge’s editorial, marketing and advertising calendars.
Evans also worked at Engility Corp, for five years as the senior unit support specialist and project manager. In this role she was the lead financial and support analyst on a Department of Defense aviation contract as the prime contractor. Evans was also a comprehensive financial adviser at Ameriprise Financial Services, where she provided retirement planning, investment advice, estate planning, and tax strategies as a fully licensed financial advisor.
She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in early childhood and elementary education and a Master of Business Administration, all from Salisbury University.
