TheArc Baltimore recognized four employees with awards.

Recognized of exemplary efforts were Towson resident Andrea Brown, who received The Arc Baltimore’s Award for Excellence in direct support for her work as an activity specialist; Bel Air resident Nancy Brown was honored with the Excellence in Management Award for her work in making The Arc Baltimore’s day programs more financially sustainable; Abingdon resident Amanda Maier was honored with the Employee of the Year Award in administration for her work as The Arc Baltimore’s information systems manager and Nottingham resident Asakegn “Isaac” Gobena, a direct support professional in community living, won The Arc Baltimore’s Employee of the Year Award in direct support.

Celebrating its 70th year, The Arc Baltimore supports more than 6,000 adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families living in Baltimore city and Baltimore County.
