ADP to lay off 123 in closure of Owings Mills office

A human resources management software and services firm is planning to close its Owings Mills office, and 123 people will lose their jobs.

ADP LLC told The Daily Record that it recently decided to close the office as part of a plan to manage its business strategically.

The layoffs are effective Sept. 27, according to state Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation records.

The company said in a statement that it is providing support to employees to transition from their jobs and has arranged to accommodate work from home. It was not immediately clear how many employees would be allowed to work from home.
