A Rockville science and technology firm has a new federal contract with the National Institutes of Health.

DSFederal Inc. announced it has a new contract to provide a wide range of scientific and program support services to NIH’s Office of Extramural Research, which assures scientific integrity and public accountability of research funded by the institutes but conducted elsewhere.

A spokesman for the company told The Daily Record the contract was worth multiple millions of dollars, with a period of performance of five years. Work began in March.

DSFederal is working on the contract with subcontracting partners ICF Inc. of Fairfax, Virginia, Master Key Consulting of Bethesda and Net Esolutions Corp. of McLean, Virginia.

Sophia Parker, founder and CEO of DSFederal, said in a news release that the company is committed to providing the highest quality services on the contract.
