Sparks-based management consulting, audit and tax firm SC&H Group split 193 volunteers into teams to work with eight nonprofits in Maryland and northern Virginia June 7 as it gave back to the community through its 13th Annual Day of Service. Company employees from its offices in Sparks, Columbia and Tysons Corner, Virginia helped complete tasks such as supporting athletes with disabilities, creating a better trail experience for rescued animals, supporting homeless veterans, preparing spaces for youth summer camps and much more. Together, the employees contributed about $15,500 worth of work in just one day.
