When Ashira Quabili was 14 years old, she endeavored to find out all she could about her grandfather, who had passed when she was 2. Quabili discovered he was a Holocaust survivor and war hero, a legacy that has inspired her to be an “agent of good” in her community.

In her role as marketing communications coordinator at Freedom Federal Credit Union, Quabili successfully developed a campaign to celebrate and promote local volunteerism. She has also coordinated efforts to collect school supplies and holiday toys for children in need.

Since 2016, Quabili has been involved in the Bel Air Rotary Club and was recently appointed as president. She continues to lead the group in fundraising and volunteer efforts to benefit those most in need.

“Ashira is ingrained in the fabric of Harford County. Throughout her career, as well as her personal life, she has strived to support the growth and success of the many organizations within the county she lives and loves,” said Carmen David Mirabile, senior vice president of marketing at Freedom Federal Credit Union.
