As an employment attorney, Julie Reddig spends a lot of her time counseling employers on how to build and maintain productive workplaces. Representing an assortment of employers in Maryland and Washington, Reddig takes pride in helping her clients build positive workplace culture.

In addition to counseling management on avoiding and defending against employment claims and training executives on employment statute and regulation compliance, Reddig also regularly speaks at local chambers of commerce and industry groups on various employment law topics.

“I am uniquely positioned in that my career also allows me to serve the larger community through my work. According to an article in the Harvard Business Review, ‘social capital (as measured through the support one receives from fellow workers) (is) positively correlated with happiness’ outside of the workplace. We spend so much of our lives in the workplace that anytime I can inspire change in my client’s workspaces, whether a worksite, office or other setting, I feel like I’m making a positive impact on the lives of its workers,” Reddig said.

In her spare time, Reddig also provides pro bono legal assistance to ImaginationStage, a local children’s theater. She also is board member for ArtStream and a member of the Junior League of Washington.
