dolcine-rachelRachel Dolcine has been CEO of her own business for almost 10 years, where she helps entrepreneurs start nonprofit organizations. Her services at Compass Consulting and Training Solutions include training and workshop planning, grant and proposal writing and curriculum writing.

Dolcine is mentoring seven young women, and is also vice president of the Hagerstown Business & Professional Women’s Association and a board member with the University of Baltimore Certified Public Manager program.

Dolcine calls herself a “proud do-gooder” who has been volunteering since middle school. For the last six years, she has led a volunteer team to her native Jamaica for up to 10 days of community service through a foundation she started in memory of her grandparents. She is also involved with law enforcement wives organizations in the United States that help support law enforcement families, and she recently started the Project Officer Cheer Up Program for officers in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

“Inspiring change in communities here and abroad is a necessary part of my existence,” she said. “When I inspire change, I light the fire in someone else to do the same.”
