As Director of Federal Relations for the office of Gov. Larry Hogan, Tiffany Waddell is responsible for representing the state’s interests in the naton’s capital.
Waddell also serves as the staff lead for Hogan’s chairmanship at the National Governors Association. In this role, she said she enjoys sharing best practices with her colleagues from other states, as well as showcasing the bipartisan work happening at the Statehouse.
Waddell said she takes special pride in her work securing federal funding for Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts, the Howard Street Tunnel project and tackling the state’s opioid crisis.
The Darnestown resident said she is always looking for new ways to serve the people of her state.
“Gov. Hogan’s motto is ‘Changing Maryland for the Better’,” Waddell said. “Every day I wake up, I think about how I personally and collaboratively can help facilitate positive change for the people of Maryland.”
Waddell was named a 2019 Top Female Leader by Women in Government Relations and a Republican Rising Star by Campaigns and Elections in 2013.
