The Rockville firm that owns the greater Washington region’s largest private transportation fleet has acquired the North American division of a British ground transportation service provider.
RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation bought Addison Lee US, a division of Addison Lee Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The merged RMA Worldwide will serve more than 25,000 clients and transport nearly 20 million passengers each year, will employ more than 1,000 people in the United States and have annual revenues of more than $140 million, according to the company, which will have offices in Boston, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Maryland, Washington, Virginia, and Los Angeles.
As part of the deal, RMA Worldwide and Addison Lee Group have agreed to a long-term strategic partnership to better serve their clients around the world.
