What do you consider your most significant professional accomplishment?
Creating and growing an entrepreneurial company, SAGE, from startup to national prominence in its industry. Surviving and thriving in the face of relentless competition from multi-national rivals, and building a deep management bench that will continue our mission after the founders retire. This year marks SAGE’s 30th anniversary, and I’m very proud to have played a leading role in that success.
Please share about your commitment to mentoring and the impact it has had on your life?
I became involved with The Common Market soon after its founding in 2008. Co-founders Haile Johnston and Tatiana Garcia-Granados had a grand vision, limited experience and a tiny administrative staff. I’ve worked closely with them to help grow the Philadelphia franchise and then expand into a national organization.
