Waterfront Partnership named Kelly Louise Barton a marketing manager and Chelsea Anspach a communications manger.
Since January, Barton helped the organization fulfill its mission of creating and managing a world-class destination while inspiring a cleaner, greener future for our neighborhoods, streams, and harbor.
She is responsible for the digital and print design, content creation and e-mail marketing strategy for the organization and brings nearly a decade of graphic design, illustration and marketing experience to her new role. She previously was the managing editor for the digital magazine What Weekly and runs her own marketing and design company where she worked as a consultant to Waterfront Partnership since 2014 illustrating the trash wheels, and designing fliers, reports, beer can labels, and more for the Healthy Harbor Initiative.
Barton is originally from New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in journalism and media studies.
Anspach joined joined the group in July and helps the organization fulfill its mission of creating and managing a world-class destination while inspiring a cleaner, greener future for our neighborhoods, streams, and harbor.
She is responsible for producing online content and fundraising campaigns, as well as managing the organization’s social media presence, including those for Mr. Trash Wheel and Professor Trash Wheel, Healthy Harbor and the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore. She has several years of experience in social media management, partnership development, and public engagement at organizations including the Baltimore Museum of Industry, Annmarie Sculpture Garden and ArtJamz in Washington.
Anspach grew up in southern Maryland right between the Chesapeake Bay and the Patuxent River and graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in studio art.
