DeVito has more than two decades of experience practicing real estate law. Prior to joining Greenberg Gibbons, he served as Principal for Stone Mattheis Xenopoulos & Brew, PC, law firm in Washington, where he specialized in real estate development and land use law. DeVito also previously served as Vice President and General Counsel for Ribera Development, LLC, a real estate development company in Annapolis, Maryland.

DeVito is a certified public accountant and a member of the Maryland and District of bars. He received an undergraduate degree in accounting from The Ohio State University and then, his law degree from the University of Maryland. As a volunteer, DeVito serves on the board of directors for the Monarch Academy Public Charter School, chairman of the board of directors for the Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation and has previously participated on numerous boards and commissions in the advancement of government practices and land use.
