Morris & Ritchie Associates (MRA), with eight offices in four states, has seen remarkable growth in its more than 40 years in business.
MRA has expanded from its home in Maryland to Delaware, Virginia and now North Carolina. It has four offices in Maryland, its Abingdon headquarters, Baltimore, Laurel and Towson, as well as offices in Georgetown and New Castle in Delaware, Leesburg, Virginia, and Raleigh, North Carolina.
The growth has led to the expansion of its professional services that include planning, landscape architecture, architecture and urban design. Each MRA office has residential, commercial, logistics, institutional and hospitality developments across the Mid-Atlantic region.
“We consider our biggest success to be maintaining exceptional relationships with our clients that span decades of time in diverse geographic regions,” said Frank F. Hertsch, MRA president and a professional engineer. “MRA is honored to be recognized for our accomplishments in the land development engineering space. We attribute our success to our incredible team of over 200 professionals.”
MRA projects include residential communities, office buildings, business and industrial parks and commercial and retail centers. Its employees include structural and civil/site engineers, architects, land planners, landscape architects and surveyors.
MRA has a long working relationship with Beatty Development and they have worked together on the implementation of the Harbor Point master plan in Baltimore.
