Patton has more than 30 years experience in Catholic education. Since 2013, Patton has served as principal of Bishop O’Connell Catholic High School in Arlington, Virginia. There, he was instrumental in helping to grow enrollment and developed a number of highly successful initiatives, including a “First Moment Initiative” to welcome new families; an expanded services inclusion model; and a nationally recognized professional development program.
He has presented at national conferences for Catholic educators as well as at universities around the country.
Patton holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Science in education administration from Trinity University and is currently pursuing his doctorate through the University of Southern Mississippi.
