With more than 20 years of government contracts and litigation experience, Panzer brings the experience of both a senior in-house counsel at a major government services contractor and a partner at a global law firm. He will co-head Whiteford’s Government Contracts practice with Tom Coulter, who joined the firm’s Richmond office last year.
Prior to joining Whiteford, Panzer served as deputy general counsel for DynCorp International, one of the largest private companies in the Washington area and a multi-billion dollar government services contractor with operations around the world. In that role, he managed day-to-day operations of the Legal Department, served as the chief advisor on all government contracts issues and was the lawyer responsible for virtually all significant litigation, investigations, bid protests, Claims and REAs. Before going in-house, Panzer spent more than a dozen years at Greenberg Traurig, including five as a partner, where he had a wide-ranging litigation practice.
