What advice can you share to help impact not only the younger generation but also the women who are trying to grow in their careers and create positive change?
Don’t let the fear of failure prevent you from pursuing an opportunity for which you have prepared yourself. There is much to be learned and insights to be gained just by going through the process, even if you don’t achieve the goal of your current pursuit. In addition to building stamina and confidence, you gain exposure to potential sponsors and mentors who may think of you first for a different opportunity.
Share some issues you are passionate about and how our network of women leaders and attendees tonight can make a difference and become advocates for change?
Once we “cure” Covid-19, we must resist the temptation to forget what we witnessed this past year. In every space we operate, we must reflect on lessons learned from this crisis and how they speak to our values. We should use that information to mend our safety nets, fix infrastructure, and address healthcare and other disparities exacerbated by the crisis.
