What have you had to change during the past year to make sure you were still “serving” even if the approach had to change?

I had to learn how to utilize video conferencing and how to use the mute button! With little to no traveling, I found that people were more open to meetings since they had a little more time on their schedules. I found that checking in on people made a huge difference. I would call or text people just to say hi and see how they were doing. This made a positive impact on the relationship.

Many people had to deal with a total re-adjustment of their lives. Me included. I found that people wanted and needed communication – to have a connection with the world outside their homes.

What advice can you share to help impact not only the younger generation but also the women who are trying to grow in their careers and create positive change?

Pick your battles. Do not whine.

Look people in the eyes.

You can be nice and smart at the same time.
