ABOUT STEPHEN HALLE

Resides in:

North Bethesda

Education:

Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Rochester (NY) and with an MBA from Indiana University (Bloomington).

If you had not chosen your current profession, what profession would you choose and why?

I would be practicing medicine. To this day, I’m fascinated by developments in the medical field, both academic and anecdotal. I still watch reruns of “Trauma: Life in the ER.” I think I work well and remain calm under pressure.

Favorite vacation:

I’ve been on many, but time with my family over the years at the Outer Banks of North Carolina has left me with the happiest memories and experiences.

When I want to relax, I … :

I listen to music or watch a Western or a comedy, especially sitcoms from the ‘60s or ‘70s.

Favorite band:

The Beatles. Their influence in music and culture is beyond compare and their songs only get better over time, even 50 years after the group dissolved.

Favorite quotation:

“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” – Winston Churchill
