Following a 1993 trial in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, a jury found Robert Lee Berry, appellant, guilty of first-degree felony murder, use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence, multiple robbery counts, and manslaughter. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment for felony murder, and to twenty consecutive years’ imprisonment for the handgun offense. The court merged the remaining convictions for sentencing purposes.
