In 1988, a jury in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County convicted James Anthony Jackson, appellant, of two counts of first-degree felony murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous or deadly weapon, and three counts of use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence. The court sentenced him to two consecutively run life sentences, plus additional time.
