Founder of the Annapolis lobbying firm Bellamy Genn Group, Lorenzo Bellamy has more than a quarter-century of experience in government relations.
His firm has a long list of specialties, including federal and state procurement, transportation, health information technology, financial services, biotechnology and nonprofits.
A graduate of the University of Virginia and the Catholic University School of Law, Bellamy has lived and worked in several countries in Africa and Europe.
Bellamy has been consistently recognized as a Maryland Super Lawyer in Government Relations and was honored by the Legal Aid of Maryland with its Executive Director Award. In 2015, he was given Rite Aid’s Government Relations Facilitator of the Year Award for his work assisting with government and public relations during the riots and protests in Baltimore following the Freddie Gray death and its aftermath.
He has been an avid soccer player since the age of 8 and is captain and manager of a Montgomery County-based team. He now lives on Capitol Hill with his wife and two daughters.
