Guests, celebrities, staff members and supporters gathered April 22 at The Garage at R. House in Baltimore to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Marian House, an organization offering rehabilitative services and housing to homeless women and their children.
Baltimore-born actress Rachel Hilson was the event’s celebrity emcee while WJZ-TV anchor Denise Koch served as the honorary chair of the mix-and-mingle celebration. DJ Carlos filled the air with music from all decades and guests enjoyed a premium open bar and delicious food by Copper Kitchen.
Guests got a chance to peek into the lives of Marian House women who have successfully rebuilt their lives and participate in a raffle as well as a silent and live auction which raised more than $22,000 for the organization’s affordable housing program.
