Johns Hopkins HealthCare Solutions is a program in which a team of Johns Hopkins Medicine employees work with a variety of organizations, including employers, health plans and providers, to improve health outcomes for both local and global populations.

The program is analytics-driven and includes questionnaires, educational content, personalized support and access to a care team within the patient’s established network.

“Johns Hopkins HealthCare Solutions brings the world’s best science from Johns Hopkins Medicine to employers, health plans, provider systems and more – worldwide,” said Kumar Subramaniam, associate vice president for Innovation, Ventures and Solutions for Hopkins.

Using digital solutions, he added, the program “offers Johns Hopkins science at scale, but with the human touch, which is truly unique in the marketplace of chronic illness and mental health solutions.

“We work with Johns Hopkins doctors and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine faculty to transform their ideas into products and bring those products to market.”

Among the programs developed under the Hopkins Healthcare Solutions are: Balance, designed to improve mental health; Work Stride, which brings support for cancer patients to the workplace and is now used by 22 companies across the country; and, Blossom, designed to help patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes.

The overarching goal of the program, Subramaniam said, is to use the best science from Hopkins Medicine to build products and programs that improve peoples’ health.

“To that end, JHHC Solutions has delivered,” he said.
