William A. Castelli, Esq. will join the government relations and lobbying group at RWL as a partner on July 1.
Castelli brings a great depth of experience and knowledge with more than 25 years of experience in government relations. Previously he was senior vice president of government affairs for the Maryland Realtors, one of the largest professional trade associations in Maryland.
He is also a past president of the Maryland Government Relations Association. Castelli started his career in Maryland politics working as a legislative assistant for U.S. Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md. Castelli is a member of the Maryland Bar and the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. He graduated from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and Colby College.
Co-chaired by Camille Fesche and Brad Rifkin, Bill joins a team of lobbyists with a combined track record that exceeds 130 years of work interfacing with state and local governments.
Castelli will be located in the firm’s Annapolis office and becomes the eighth member of the RWL lobbying and GR team, which includes Joel Rozner, Mike Johansen, Brad Rifkin, Camille Fesche, JR Reith, Matt Bohle and Obie Chinemere.
