Nicole Stallings has been promoted to executive vice president and chief external affairs officer of the Maryland Hospital Association, the advocate for the state’s 60 hospitals and health systems.
Stallings has served MHA for more than 10 years in progressively more responsible positions, including most recently as chief external affairs officer and senior vice president of government affairs & policy.
She will maintain responsibility for MHA’s advocacy before state and federal entities and lawmakers, as well as the Association’s policy work, and assume oversight of MHA’s communications functions and efforts to improve health care quality across the state, including work to advance population health.
