What’s the most important thing you do in your job?

I help people to the best of my abilities.

What is one aspect of your profession you would like to change?

This is a difficult question, because every aspect of the profession has issues or frustrations with how things are done. I actually think there is a lot right with the practice of law today. If I had to really choose something to change, I would eliminate judicial elections for circuit judges. Perhaps retention elections would be ok, but it is certainly looks bad when judges have to raise money to run to keep their seats.

If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?

I honestly have no idea. I wanted to be a lawyer since I was kid. My dad was a lawyer, and i have always looked up to him.
