Whether it is a celebrity or a person of substantial wealth to those of modest means, David N. Pessin has worked for more than 35 years to preserve and maintain clients personal and business assets from erosion due to a number of factors.
The co-founder of Pessin Katz Law earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he later returned to teach the next generation. He is a past chair for the board of directors for the March of Dimes Central Maryland Chapter as well as Adoptions Together Inc.
With such an extensive resume under his belt, Pessin says he would like his legacy, “To be as the Founding Member of Pessin Katz Law, P.A. which has grown through the years from a small estate planning firm into the seventh largest law firm in the Baltimore region.
“Second, as a preeminent estate and business planning attorney who has assisted clients and their families from all walks of life – not only the fortunate who have substantial wealth and celebrity, but also those of more modest means who also deserve protection from the myriad of events that lead to an erosion of wealth.
“Third, as an educator. I taught at the University of Baltimore School of Law for over a decade, hosted several local talk radio shows on wealth preservation, have taught countless seminars and thoroughly enjoy listening to and educating my clients, along with the younger attorneys in our firm. I enjoy teaching them how to be good attorneys, how to best provide quality legal service to clients, and how to grow a practice that will support them, their families and continue the legacy of Pessin Katz Law,” he said.
His greatest accomplishment has been working with professional athletes, entertainers and broadcasters in personal and business matters.
