Frank D. Boston III first established his legal practice, The Law Office of Frank D. Boston, in 1996. Nearly three decades later, the firm, now known as Boston Plaut, is one of the top lobbying and government relations practices in the state with offices in Annapolis and Baltimore.
An Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, Boston earned his Bachelor of Science from Bucknell University, where he was elected by his class to give the senior commencement speech. He worked as a retail bond trader on Wall Street for several years before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Boston worked at Whiteford, Taylor and Preston as a law clerk, Baltimore’s Office of the Public Defender Felony Trial Division and in public affairs and government relations before launching his firm. He represents individuals as well as small and large companies before the Maryland General Assembly and courts across the state.
With a passion for working in the community, Boston has given his time over the years as a board member for several organizations, including the Baltimore Animal Rescue Shelter, The Dyslexia Tutoring Program, the public radio station WYPR and the Children’s Chorus of Maryland.
